The film, directed by Srikanth Odela, began its theatrical journey with substantial advance demand. Sacnilk’s September 24 morning tracking put India Day 1 advance sales at about ₹23.77 crore, with Hyderabad leading the city chart at roughly ₹8.19 crore. That makes Hyderabad particularly important to the film’s opening-weekend trajectory.

The concern now is Day 2. Weather disruptions across parts of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh could reduce spontaneous evening theatre visits, while Hyderabad faces a much larger mobility issue because of the Ganesh immersion procession.

Hyderabad’s main Ganesh immersion procession is scheduled for Friday, September 25. Hyderabad Traffic Police have announced restrictions from 6 am on September 25 until 10 am on September 26, with major roads including NTR Marg, PVNR Marg, Tank Bund and Khairatabad Flyover affected. The main procession route will also pass through several central and Old City areas.

The Telangana government has also declared September 25 a holiday in Hyderabad, Secunderabad and adjoining areas because of the immersion procession.

This does not mean The Paradise will automatically suffer a fall in collections. The film has already demonstrated strong advance interest, and audiences may adjust their show timings around the restrictions. But for a film that relies heavily on Hyderabad’s urban theatrical market, even a temporary disruption in mobility can change the distribution of footfall across different shows.

If rain and immersion-related traffic reduce attendance, the resulting numbers could make the film appear weaker than its underlying demand actually is.

The weekend will provide a cleaner picture. If footfall rebounds after the immersion-related restrictions ease, the Day 2 dip can reasonably be treated as an external disruption rather than a direct measure of the film’s word of mouth. Conversely, if occupancy remains weak once normal movement resumes, the film’s audience response becomes a more meaningful factor.
