Microsoft has introduced MAI-Cyber-1-Flash, its first AI model built specifically for cybersecurity, alongside the MDASH vulnerability-hunting system. The company claims the new setup outperformed GPT-5.5 Cyber, GPT-5.6 Sol, Mythos 5, and Gemini 3.5 Flash Cyber on the CyberGym benchmark while reducing operating costs by 50%.
