The company has launched the MX Keypad in India at Rs 15,999, positioning it as its first customisable AI control centre and a dedicated accessory for users who regularly work with AI-powered applications.

The device comes with nine customisable LCD keys and two navigation buttons placed underneath them. Through Logitech’s Logi Options+ application, users can assign functions to the keys according to their individual workflows. This means a developer could create shortcuts for coding tools, while a content creator could configure the same hardware around editing applications.

The MX Keypad is compatible with Windows 10 and newer versions and macOS 13 and later. Logitech says the product uses recycled plastic as part of its construction.

The new keypad supports a wide range of professional software, including Visual Studio Code, GitHub Copilot, IntelliJ IDEA, Claude Code and OpenAI Codex. Beyond development, it works with applications such as Zoom, Spotify, Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Notion, Slack and Figma, as well as Adobe creative tools and video-editing platforms including Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve and OBS Studio.

The Indian price is set at Rs 15,999, with a single Graphite colour option. Logitech will sell the MX Keypad through its India online store, although the company has not yet disclosed the exact sale date. Buyers receive a one-year limited hardware warranty and three months of GitHub Copilot Pro+ at no additional cost.

The product enters an emerging category of dedicated AI controls and is positioned against OpenAI’s Codex Micro, a customisable keyboard designed around Codex workflows.
