Senior Maoist leader Misir Besra, carrying a cumulative reward of ₹1 crore, has been arrested in Jharkhand's Dhanbad along with two Maoist operatives and two villagers. Security agencies say the arrest is a major breakthrough that could expose the group's leadership, arms supply network, extortion channels and operational infrastructure across eastern India.
