Severe flooding continues to disrupt life across northern Odisha, where more than 1.25 lakh people have been affected after relentless rainfall caused major rivers to overflow. Around 50,000 residents have been evacuated to relief centres, schools have been closed in 10 districts, and the IMD has warned of more heavy to very heavy rainfall over the next 24 hours.
